20th
November 2013
Dear
Parents,
As a
school this term we have started learning French in Key Stage 2 and to promote
this across
the
school we are holding a ‘French Friday’ tomorrow 22nd November 2013.
This
will involve children and adults using some simple phrases during the school
day.
Such
as Bonjour (Hello)
Merci (Thank you)
S’il vous plait (
please)
Je voudrais (I would like)
Au revoir (goodbye)
To
make this fun and exciting the children will be taking part in various French
themed activities
during
the school day, which will include learning about France, the culture, the food
, songs etc.
At
lunchtime there will be a French themed lunch (for those who are school
dinners) and a
typical
French breakfast will be served at Breakfast club, for those who are booked in
there.
So
your support with this and remembering to say ‘Bonjour’ in the morning will be
appreciated.
Merci de votre collaboration!!
Yours
sincerely,
Mrs A. Lipski
