Dear parents,
Current issues surrounding Swine Flu
I am sure you are aware of the World Health Organization’s recommendations regarding the current outbreak of Swine Flu. In response to this schools are required to update their emergency plans in case this becomes a pandemic, which I must stress it isn’t at the moment.
We are following the Government’s advice on ‘Catch it, Bin it and Kill it,’ and promoting this by ensuring all classes have tissues and antibacterial washes readily available.
If the worst case scenario happened and the school would have to close, this in the first instance would be posted on our website www.parsloes.bardaglea.org.uk . The link for this is News and Events on our homepage.
If you do not have access to the internet, and have not already informed us please do so as soon as possible so that we can make arrangements as to how we would inform you.
The school will keep you informed of any further developments or arrangements we make.
