Dates for the rest of the Term

7th October 2011

Dear Parents

OUR NEW CHILDREN’S KITCHEN
Cooking has always been a big part of the curriculum in nursery and reception ( eg making playdough etc weekly) but we have recognised the potential of using cooking to support pupils’ learning across the whole curriculum and across the whole school. Therefore we turned one of our resource rooms into a children’s kitchen which is now up and running. All classes will be using this kitchen at least on a half termly basis. This is why this year we have asked for a voluntary contribution towards to cost of maintaining a regular stock of cooking resources. So thank you very much for your co-operation.

UNIFORM

Could all parents please label your child’s uniform. This makes it so much easier to return items to the rightful owner.

We have only been back at school four weeks and already there are two bins full of lost property that cannot be returned as there are no names on them.
Thank you once again for your co-operation

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Lipski
