23rd April 2009
I hope you all had an enjoyable holiday and are enjoying our good weather, long may it last!
In this letter are a few reminders for the start of a new term and also some of the dates that we have already arranged for this term.
UNIFORM
Girls can now start wearing red gingham summer dresses. These must be worn with either a school sweatshirt or school cardigan (not plain red cardigans). Boys can also start wearing shorts. All polo shirts must have the Parsloes motif on them.
Please also ensure children are wearing the correct footwear. Even with the fine weather children should always wear socks. Footwear should be FLAT, white/ black/red/grey shoes or trainers only with white/black/red/grey laces.

PE LESSONS
As part of our PE curriculum many lessons will be taking place outside so please ensure your child comes to school with the correct PE kit including footwear. Trainers can be worn for PE lessons outside, unless they are white/ black/red/grey they cannot be worn during the rest of the day.
As you know children in years 1 to 6 can bring in their own water bottles that can only have water in them, which they can bring outside for any PE lessons.
PE is a compulsory subject and as such all children will always be expected to take part and bring into school the correct kit for their PE lessons.
Thank you for your support in these matters.
Yours sincerely
Mrs. A. Lipski
